Round Robin Bracelet Project

Last month I was contacted by a friend, Pam, whom I have never met except through internet activities.  Pam and I became acquainted through our mutual friend, Carla.
Subscription info here!

Pam had read an article in Belle Armoire Jewelry Magazine which you can read about on Cindy's blog for her company, Sweet Bead Studio.  Cindy's article is the Around The World: Necklace Round Robin.  Anyway, Cindy and several of her blog "sisters" worked together on a collaborative piece of jewelry and journaled about their experience.  Pam wanted to try this and we all decided that a bracelet fit better with our jewelry wearing preferences.  So we started with the deadline that our project had to be sent to a partner by Feb. 1st.  I sent my bracelet to Carla, Carla sent hers to Pam, and Pam sent hers to me.  Our project is to make a bracelet, something that has special meaning to us, but that has the potential to be added onto by our partners.  At the end of our project we will each have a bracelet that is truly special and fun. We also had to do a journal to go along with our piece, also to be added onto by our partners.  (Pam's journal puts mine lame attempt at journaling to shame, though I thought it was cute at the time!)
This is what I started with.  I thought it was quite lovely considering I finished it quickly the night before I left early to head to Omaha in a blizzard to be able to catch our flight to Tucson!  I love Lucite flowers and crystals, and it is all wire wrapped to chain.  I can't wait to see what Pam and Carla add to it!
