Mina started her summer job today. For the next three weeks or so, she will be spending her days wandering through the Central Nebraska "corn jungle" doing detasseling for seed corn companies. There are few summer jobs that pay teens so well, but those teens are expected to work hard and will come home completely exhausted and filthy!
I found the cornfield picture here.
