This is our lucky charm! Today, Chris and Mina went to a fishing derby in Hastings. Not only did Mina get interviewed and photographed for both the Hastings and Grand Island newspapers, she caught her first catfish and won a fishing pole in a drawing! I had to work so I missed out on the "fun" of fishing, but I was glad to get out of the house and take off that neck brace! Yesterday having to sit at home and keep my head level was a great chore (spelled bored!) and I made it through work so hopefully the rocks in my head that slipped into my ear have leveled themselves out for another few years! The pic of Mina is in our front yard, they forgot to take the camera with them, and "Kitty" the catfish was taken to a nearby lake and released.

Congratulations, Mina!
Thanks Carla! She was the lead in of the story on the front page of the paper last night. It got clipped out for the Treasured keepsake pile.
