One Year Ago...

One year ago, this was the post...
http://www.pixybugdesigns.blogspot.com/2011/01/away-we-go.html

My boss, Julie, took me on an adventure to Tucson for a whirlwind bead buying trip and this was what I posted just before leaving.  Julie and her daughter Jacie left for Tucson today, and I SO wish they had packed me in their suitcase!  I wanted to share this tidbit of Blogger wisdom from my stats. This post turned out to be one of my highest viewed posts.  Not because it was so very exciting (although it was INCREDIBLY exciting to me at the time!  I used a cute clip art picture and labeled it with a link tag as to where I found the picture.  Who knew that there were so many people in need of airplane clip art?  To date, I have had this many hits relating to this one picture!

That is pretty funny!  When you use the internet, you just never know what will connect you to others!

What's Not To Love?

Here are the lovely and "delicious" donut beads I received from Debi Cogwell of Palm Tree Queen Lampworks! With my prize gift certificate from the Day of the Dead Challenge, I ordered 6 donuts and Debi sent me:
this pretty package!  Not only the outside of the box was pretty, but inside there was a bunch of candy, a Mary Engelbreit Valentine, and this pretty box with my beads!

Aren't the cute?!  I love, love, love them!  Debi even sent me an extra donut (the one right in the center) and I plan to make a bracelet from this strand of yummy beads!  Thanks SO much Debi!

Beauty in the Palm of His Hand

Chris added some eye candy to the Etsy shop on Sunday.  Have you seen them yet?  Top: Copper Blue Heart bead, Chartreuse Swirls marble, and Love is Complicated Heart bead.  Chris created all of the goodies and trust me, they are even more AWESOME in person!

I received the beads I ordered with my prize gift certificate from Palm Tree Queen today!  Delicious, mini donuts that are calling to me (strangely just like the life sized real ones do!) to make them into jewelry!  Stay tuned for pictures!
