Meet Our BSBP Partners, Charlie & Staci!

Chris and I have been very fortunate in the bead soup ingredients we have received from our partners, Charlie Jacka (Chris's partner) and Staci Louise Smith (Steph's partner).

Here is what we sent to Charlie:
(borrowed photo from Charlie's blogpost)
Chris started with the fiber and worked out from there! Hand-dyed cord, Czech glass, Red Creek Jasper, Sleeping Beauty turquoise (from his personal bead stash), a brass clasp, and handmade lampwork focal and accents made by Chris.
Here is the picture Chris took of his soup ingredients before he sent it!

Here is what we sent to Staci, Steph's partner (photos borrowed from Staci's blogpost):

We sent Staci a wide variety of Czech glass, natural stones and freshwater pearls, Tierracast apple blossom rivetables and clasp, handmade lampwork focal and beads by Chris, Shibori silk and other hand dyed fibers, and woolywire.

When I opened my soup ingredients from Staci, I laughed out loud because she had also sent me woolywire!  Here is what she sent to me!

handmade beads created by Staci, natural stones, clasp made by Genea Beads

Beads from Staci's favorite artists!
Staci was very kind in her soup mixes!  Yes, she sent me two!  I love the beads Staci created, it doesn't get better to work with one of a kind creations.  She also sent me pieces from Marsha Neal Studios (ball end head pin and large wavy donut bead), Genea Beads (starfish head pin). the woolywire (made by her friend, Nellie), and another gorgeous bead made by Staci.  She also sent me some authentic sea glass made into beads with holes drilled by Staci.  That is so cool!

Now that the soups have been swapped, be sure to stay tuned for the creations revealed in early May!
